Sacrificing the little guys - that's how they covered it up....

I am starting this blog so that I can share with the world what I have come to learn about Lynndie England, the woman in the infamous Abu Ghraib photos of detainee abuse. She maintained her innocense then, but she was labeled one of the "few bad apples" of the Bush administration. Luckily, the bi-partisam Senate Armed Services committee recently concluded in their report about detainee abuses that
"The abuse of detainees at Abu Ghraib in late 2003 was not simply the result of a few soldiers acting on their own. Interrogation techniques such as stripping detainees of their clothes, placing them in stress positions, and using military working dogs to intimidate them appeared in Iraq only after they had been approved for use in Afghanistan and at GTMO. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld’s December 2, 2002 authorization of aggressive interrogation techniques and subsequent interrogation policies and plans approved by senior military and civilian officials conveyed the message that physical pressures and degradation were appropriate treatment for detainees in U.S. military custody. What followed was an erosion in standards dictating that detainees be treated humanely"
We ask:
When will the seven soldiers implicated, court-marshaled, and sent to prison be pardoned, and compensated for their lost time with family and their inability to find jobs of any substance? When will the Obama administration prosecute the true war criminals of this illegal Iraq War? When will justice prevail?
Well, Ms. England is tired of being the freak show of the world. She's ready to fight back, and so are those who also felt the full wratch of the Chain of Command. Lynndie and Janis Karpinski (Karpinski was the only officer implicated in the scandal who was demoted and forced to retire) are joining forces in order to educate the public about what really happened. It is time for the world community to open their eyes and realize just how much the Bush Administration has tampered with our constitution and with our lives. Please support Lynndie so that she can tell her story - the real story she has not been allowed to tell...until now.
